夏休み
夏休みは6月末から9月初めにかけての2か月間におよびます。小学生の子どもたちは、友だちと遊んだり、時には3〜4週間にもわたる家族旅行を楽しみます。中・高生になると、芝刈や公園でのアルバイトをして過ごすことが多くなります。宿題は中・高生になってもないことが多く（小学生は絵日記数枚程度）、夏休みは太陽と野外生活を楽しむためにあると考えられています。
